Innovation Summit 2018
“A licence to explore” was the motto of the Red Bull Media House Innovation Summit 2018, which took place last week in Austria. The Red Bull Media House invited more than 35 startups and high-tech companies to two innovation days, inspiring discussions, interesting lectures and an exciting range of action side events in Scalaria on Lake Wolfgang.

Red Bull Media House invited more than 35 start-ups and high-tech companies to two days of innovation, inspiring talks, interesting keynotes and a fascinating array of action side events to Scalaria at Wolfgangsee.
The exhibition area of the summit was divided into different areas and topics like media production, audio 2.0, content enhancement, virtual/augmented reality or sensors and biometric data.
KINEXON presented the full range of products and technologies for athlete monitoring, media solutions and entertainment. In the past, we already worked with Red Bull on different events like X‑Fighters in Madrid.

The Austrian company Qus offers a smart shirt that measures data like heartrate and breathing rate – without wearing any additional devices.
IDUN Technologies is a biosensor company from Zurich, Switzerland. They develop and produce soft and dry conductive electrodes for biopotential monitoring (ECG, EEG, EMG).
From smart sensors and wearable technologies to augmented reality: Munich-based Icaros combines virtual reality with fitness and trains core muscles while flying through a virtual landscape.
Mic-tic from Zurich, Switzerland transforms movement into sound in real-time and created what they call themselves “augmented sound reality”. We look forward to seeing you all again soon!
