Kinexon speaks at European Space Solutions Conference
On June 13 Kinexon was invited to present its innovative localization and motion sensing solution at the European Space Solutions Conference 2014. The conference was organized by the European Commission and the European GNSS Agency (GSA).
Taking place in the Prague Conference Centre from 11 to 13 June 2014, the 3-day conference brought together business and the public-sector with users and developers of space-based solutions. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the potential for using space technologies from the European Space Programmes Galileo/EGNOS (navigation) and Copernicus (Earth observation) in their fields of work, gather insights about current developments, and discuss what is possible and needed in the future.
Under the title “Centimeter accurate in- and outdoor localization: The impact on industry 4.0, healthcare and sports” Dr. Oliver Trinchera, Managing Director at Kinexon, presented KINEXON ONE to the audience. In his presentation he highlighted the enormous potential that results from centimeter-accurate 3D localization and motion sensing for outdoor and indoor applications. Especially the fact that the Kinexon solution provides high accuracy combined with a simple an scalable system setup was honored by the audience.
The conference was enriched by exciting contributions by top-class speakers from leading corporates such as Rx Networks, ST Microelectronics, and Qualcomm. For example, Oliver Trinchera’s presentation was followed by Ed Parsons, Geospatial Technologist of Google and his view on the democratisation of space.
The conference was accompanied by an interactive public exhibition showcasing the many benefits of the EU space programmes in the European Space Expo which will be installed in Prague for nine days. Kinexon had the honor to be one of the exhibitors.
