New VP Clubs & Federations EMEA: Per Hansen drives expansion of KINEXON internationally

It is the third big news from the management team of KINEXON Sports & Media GmbH at the start of the year: Per Hansen becomes Vice President Clubs & Federations EMEA.

When it comes to technologization in top-level sports, Per Hansen (47) has left his footprint in all of Europe’s top leagues in a career that has spanned some 20 years to date. Now, the Danish-born will apply his extraordinary feel for trends and potential beyond European borders.

Hansen will act as Vice President Clubs & Federations EMEA from January 1, 2022, and will thus be responsible for the club and federation business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He reports to Marco Dröge, new Executive Vice President Commercial EMEA at KINEXON Sports & Media GmbH.

Per Hansen previously worked for Polar, the world’s leading company for heart rate measurement, for 9 years and was subsequently responsible for the global sales of Adidas Team Systems for 7 years. 

Since 2019, he has been instrumental in driving KINEXON’s international expansion in elite sports — most recently as Head of Clubs & Federations Europe.
