Customizing Sports Data Analytics: Empowering Women Athletes through Daily Surveys

In the world of sports, the pursuit of excellence is constant. Whether you’re a player, coach, or athletic trainer you’re always looking for ways to improve your performance, or the overall performance of your team, and gain a competitive edge.

A game-changer in achieving this and optimize performance strategies lies in the fusion of sports data analytics and a deeper understanding of women’s menstrual cycle through daily surveys. Let’s dive in.

Sports data is now being designed with women in mind by using daily surveys and demand planners.

Daily surveys provide a valuable means for women teams to gain insights into their performance during games or practices. These surveys not only help understand how and why they performed in a certain way but also offer a unique advantage.

By combining information about the menstrual cycle phase and personal well-being with performance data, coaches can effectively optimize their players’ daily or weekly workload. This powerful fusion allows for targeted and precise adjustments to enhance overall performance while considering personal health aspects.

While some teams may have already implemented a questionnaire (using tools like Google Forms or athlete management platforms such as SAP Sports One), others might be starting from scratch. If that’s you, you may recognize the immense power of having this type of information available, but might be having trouble figuring out where to begin. This is precisely where KINEXON steps in, offering teams a straightforward set of daily questions.

By providing this user-friendly solution, KINEXON enables teams to effortlessly gather crucial data, regardless of their current setup, empowering them to harness the potential of daily surveys to bundle subjective and objective data for enhanced performance analysis and optimization.

The Power of Daily Questionnaires

Coaches review information from a daily planner used by women's sports teams to create sports analytics that are more aligned with women athletes.

To draw meaningful conclusions, survey answers alone might not be sufficient. KINEXON goes the extra mile by using tracking technology paired with personal information to calculate the optimal load range for each player. This real-time data is presented through interactive dashboards, empowering coaches to make live (and post) decisions during practice or games.

Currently, our calculation uses the starting day of each players’ cycle as the basis of distributing the athletes in the different phases. We are fully aware that each woman is as different as her cycle rhythm, which is why we are already working on integrating individual historical data.

Our goal is to equip teams with enhanced player tracking technology, designed specifically for women’s sports. We want to provide you with the power to create cycle-oriented regimens that enhance performance, so you can make data-driven decisions that give you a competitive edge.
